The Philosophy
KBC El Gouna is positioned on a vast, shallow lagoon in El Gouna, Egypt — one of the largest kite lagoons on the Red Sea, spanning over two square kilometres. The school is renowned worldwide for its incredibly consistent thermal winds blowing across flat, waist-deep waters, creating a perfect playground for absolute beginners and advanced freestyle riders alike. VDWS-certified instructors, modern F-ONE equipment, a rescue boat, freshwater pool, beach bar, and restaurant make this one of the most fully-equipped kite centres in Africa.
