The Philosophy
El Yaque on Margarita Island is considered one of the classic global kiteboarding spots. The beach on Venezuela's Margarita Island benefits from a natural wind funnel that delivers remarkably consistent trade winds almost every day, with peak season from February to June and again October to January. The water is relatively flat and the beach offers plenty of space. Kiteboarding Club El Yaque is one of the few schools operating here with a max ratio of 2 students per instructor. Note: due to Venezuela's complex travel logistics, this destination suits more adventurous travellers.
