The Philosophy
Panama Kite Center is positioned at the main kitesurfing spot in Punta Chame, a slender peninsula offering a large lagoon at low tide that is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediates. The school is run by German owner Florian and operates from December to April when the Pacific trade winds reliably blow across the peninsula. Glamping tents and studio apartments are available directly on-site, and the school organises downwinder trips to the sandbars around Taborcillo Island. Communication via Bluetooth radio helmets and boat-based instruction are standard.
