The Philosophy
REAL Watersports, founded in 2001, has become one of the world's premier kiteboarding, surfing, and foiling destinations, operating from the village of Waves on Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. With over 50,000 students through its instructional programmes, REAL offers the famous 'Zero to Hero' kite camp — ranked by Outside Magazine among the Top 10 Adventure Camps in the World. The Cape Hatteras location offers access to both the shallow Pamlico Sound for flat-water kiteboarding and the Atlantic Ocean for surfing and wave riding.
